ASTI’s Rick Welsh to Present at Annual AEHS East Coast Conference

ASTI director of the Property Services Group, Rick Welsh, will be a presenter at the 37th Annual International Conference on Soils, Sediments, Water, and Energy held by the Association for Environmental Health and Sciences Foundation (AEHS).  The conference will be conducted virtually this upcoming October 18-21, 2021. Mr. Welsh’s presentation will explore the assumptions and uncertainty factors being used by the EPA and select states in generating drinking water standards (maximum contaminant levels or MCLs) for PFAS (Poly & Perfluoroalkyl Substances).

The conference attracts 600-800 attendees annually. Attendees include state and federal agency employees; the military; railroad, petroleum, transportation, and utilities industries; environmental engineers; environmental consultants; and academia.
