KANDLER & ANDERSON TEAM UP AT THE BMCC

Lansing, MI, February 25, 2015:  ASTI Directors George Kandler and Robert Anderson have been selected to lead a session entitled; Beyond the Phase I ESA:  Potential Issues That Impact Timing And Costs at the 2015 Building Michigan Communities Conference held at the Lansing Center in Downtown Lansing on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 130pm – 300pm.  Attendees will learn how a seemingly routine Phase I ESA can stall or halt an affordable housing project if the environmental consultant is not proficient at NEPA, SHPO, Phase II ESAs, vapor intrusion, noise attenuation, blast/explosion/fire mitigation, asbestos, lead-based paint, radon, wetlands, floodplains and other issues.  

Kandler is also an Officer of the Michigan Housing Council, the longest-serving statewide association of affordable housing professionals in the United States, and serves as their Vice President of Professional Services.
