EPA ASSESSMENT GRANT
ADRIAN, MI

ASTI was contracted by the City of Adrian to manage and implement two EPA Site Assessment Grants: one for hazardous substances and one for petroleum products.  Grants were to be applied to properties as desired by City stakeholders.

The scope of services included preparation of a project-specific Quality Assurance Project Plan; preparation of site-specific Sampling Plans and Health and Safety Plans; conducting Phase I, Phase II, Asbestos and underground storage tank investigations; preparing Baseline Environmental Assessments under Part 201 of Michigan’s Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act; providing documentation and reporting to U.S. EPA per requirements of the grants.  

ASTI also assisted the city’s Brownfield Redevelopment Authority by creating brownfield redevelopment strategies appropriate to the site priorities of the city.
