Brighton, MI-November 30, 2011: With just 7 of the State of Michigan's 54 applicants being awarded EPA Brownfield Assessment and Cleanup grants, this year proved to be one of the most competitive grant rounds in recent memory. ASTI Environmental assisted two of the seven winning communities - the City of Inkster was awarded a $400,000 community wide site assessment grant, and The City of Adrian, through Lenawee County, was awarded a $200,000 cleanup grant.
